What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver position at Total Quality Assurance International LLC?
TQAI is a 3rd party service provider to the global automotive industry. If you are looking for a past paced position that contributes to assuring that Quality defects are contained in High Performance Vehicle and Passenger vehicles, then we have a position available.
TQAI Inspectors have played a critical role some of the leading edge technology used in performance vehicles. We are looking for a full-time forklift driver with the expected work hours of Monday-Friday 11am-7pm or Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am.
- Move freight from one line to another or throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload all material on freight trucks.
- Perform fork-truck safety inspections daily at the beginning of each shift.
Successful candidates must be able to manage time according to allow for general housekeeping in order to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Skills and Specifications
- Should have the ability to competently and effectively manage time and complete assigned work.
- Should be a team player and have the ability to coordinate with fellow workers.
- Should be compliant with all safety regulations
- Should have basic computer skills and working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office programs
Education and Qualifications
- High school degree, GED certification or an equivalent qualification from a certified college..
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for four or more hours at a time.
- Must be able to bend, reach, and manipulate bulky objects.
