Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts (lift trucks), reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo’s, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments.
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and materials handling with proper techniques to prevent injury.
• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and other logistics tools to track stock levels accurately.
• Pick orders efficiently using order picker equipment while adhering to safety protocols in production environments.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
• Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure optimal operation of all heavy equipment.
• Follow OSHA standards and warehouse safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Support warehouse distribution tasks by organizing stock in designated areas and preparing items for shipment or storage.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow processes and improve overall warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklift trucks (lift trucks), reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or similar material handling equipment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining proper safety standards.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in production environments.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse distribution is highly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow safety protocols rigorously.

Pay: $24.01 - $28.92 per hour
