The Opportunity
Lonestar Forklift is looking for a Rental Freight Driver to join our team in Garland, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for completing local deliveries to Lonestar’s Service, Sales, and Rentals customers.

The Opportunity
Lonestar Forklift is looking for a Rental Freight Driver to join our team in Garland, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for completing local deliveries to Lonestar’s Service, Sales, and Rentals customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Rental Freight Driver your key responsibilities will include:
- Receive inbound requests from the Freight Coordinator
- Manage documentation relating to equipment transport
- Load and unload equipment onto the transport truck/trailer
- Transport equipment to and from various destinations
- Relay relevant customer feedback to appropriate internal stakeholders
- General vehicle maintenance, including cleaning and inspections
- Ensure that all registrations, insurance, CIVs are current
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- High school diploma
- Class A or Class B license and a clean driving history (motor vehicle record check required for employment)
- Minimum of three years driving experience
- Prior experience in the material handling equipment industry is a strong asset, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- A self-starter and a team player
