About the role:
Total Product Events, a subsidiary of Kretek International, is the owner of Total Product Expo (TPE), the first big B2B buying show of the year that brings together thousands of independent retailers, local distributors, brands, and manufacturers. We are seeking a Marketing Manager who owns and executes the full Total Product Expo (TPE) marketing plan across all channels. This role is accountable for ensuring that every campaign, asset, and initiative is delivered on time, aligned with strategy, and optimized to drive exhibitor and attendee growth.
This individual serves as the central execution lead for TPE marketing, managing day-to-day operations, coordinating cross-functional resources, and ensuring all components of the marketing plan are successfully brought to market.
This role is fully accountable for the successful execution of all marketing initiatives for both exhibitors and attendees.
The TPE team is a united, fast-paced team that is located in Moorpark, CA.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Campaign Execution
- Build and manage the master campaign calendar aligned to event milestones
- Own end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns across all channels
- Track progress and proactively address risks or delays
- Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards
Cross-Channel Coordination
- Coordinate execution across email, website, creative, direct mail, and partnerships
- Align messaging, timing, and targeting across all audiences
- Serve as the central point of contact for internal teams and external partners
Website & Digital Oversight
- Own marketing-driven updates to the TPE website
- Partner with web development to implement updates and new pages
- Ensure website content supports campaign goals and conversion
Team & Resource Management
- Guide, mentor, and manage the marketing department’s daily activities.
- Directly manage the Email/CRM Specialist
- Coordinate work across designer, content, and web development resources
- Ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
Vendor & Agency Management
- Manage external vendors and agency partners
- Coordinate with the agency on paid media, social, and influencer execution
- Ensure all partners are aligned with campaign timelines and deliverables
Email & Campaign Alignment
- Partner with Email/CRM Specialist to execute campaign sends
- Ensure alignment between email, landing pages, and campaign messaging
Creative & Content Execution
· Partner with the head of creative services, designer and content resources to develop campaign assets
· Ensure creative consistency across all channels
· Manage asset production timelines and approvals
· Upload assets and ensure optimal user experience for exhibitor tools
Success Metrics
· On-time delivery of all campaign components
· Campaign execution aligned to strategic timeline
· Improved cross-channel consistency and efficiency
· Contribution to customer registration and engagement goals
Qualifications
· 5–8 years of experience in marketing, campaign management, or marketing operations
· Proven experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, web, digital, etc.)
· Experience managing project timelines and coordinating cross-functional teams
· Prior experience managing at least one direct report preferred
· Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CRM systems (e.g., MailChimp, Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo)
· Experience working with external vendors and/or marketing agencies
· Strong project management skills
· Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with marketing tools and platforms preferred (Asana, Teams)
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
· Some travel is required.
