As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Healthcare Construction Project Manager to oversee new clinic builds, remodels, and facility expansions. This position plays a key role in supporting our ongoing growth and requires a candidate with proven experience in healthcare construction and a strong understanding of clinical design standards and compliance.
MUST HAVE: Healthcare Construction Experience
This role requires direct, hands-on experience managing healthcare or medical facility construction projects. Candidates without healthcare construction experience will not be considered.
Position Overview
The Healthcare Construction Project Manager will manage all aspects of construction for new urgent care clinics and healthcare facilities — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with healthcare-specific regulations. This role works closely with internal leadership, architects, contractors, and local authorities to ensure each build meets both operational and clinical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple healthcare construction projects from design to occupancy
- Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific building codes, ADA, OSHA, and NFPA standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and inspectors to align design and construction with clinical needs
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Prepare project reports and communicate updates to leadership
- Coordinate construction close-out and clinic readiness for opening
- Manage timelines and proactively resolve construction-related challenges
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE: 2-3 years of direct Healthcare Construction Project Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of healthcare design, compliance, and construction codes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across various markets
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with construction management tools (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
- Willingness to travel regularly to active job sites across Texas and nearby states
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
