What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set-Up Technician position at Total Plastic Solutions LLC?
Total Plastic Solutions is hiring Setup Technicians for our 3rd shift team! We are a customer-centric company seeking operators just as passionate as we are. Total Plastic Solutions is a plastics manufacturer that utilizes injection and blow molding with 25 years of experience in the industry.
The Setup Technician installs, removes, prepares, and stores injection molds and post molding equipment in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Technician duties include but are not limited to:
- Install molds into molding machines
- Remove molds from molding machines
- Prepare and place molds on storage rack
- Perform daily preventative maintenance procedures
- Respond to warning and assistance needed alarms
- Set-up and adjust auxiliary equipment necessary for molding and post molding operations
- Maintain water and air hoses used in the set up of molds and post molding equipment.
- Maintain fixtures and auxiliary equipment and materials used for installing and removing molds.
- Return all support and auxiliary equipment to proper storage areas after use
- Authorized to make minor process adjustments to molding and post molding machines.
- Will help in maintaining a clean and orderly work area and environment.
Applicants must pass a Mechanical Aptitude test to be considered for this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
