Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic multi-tasker and problem solver to join our dynamic team. The Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients and outside sales staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle various customer inquiries with professionalism.
Essential Functions
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Assist customers with product information, quotes, order processing, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate & detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal team members including shipping, inventory, accounting and operations.
- Receive, research and answer inquiries and requests regarding products, prices, and delivery.
- Create and maintain files and reminders for follow-up action with customers.
- Maintains correct customer information; to include names, addresses, etc.
- Enters orders received from customers. Reviews customers purchase orders for accurate pricing & details.
- Documents customer communications and activity using CRM tool
- Be available to work 40 hours per week on-site, 7:00am to 3:30pm / excellent attendance is a must
Requirements:
- 2 plus years of experience in Sales / Customer Service
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and communicate solutions effectively.
- Strong data entry skills for maintaining accurate records.
- Strong organizational & time management skills
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be adaptable and capable of learning new processes and products
Computer Skills:
Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
