Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Create and implement compliant, student-centered IEPs aligned with district, state, and federal standards
- Provide engaging therapy sessions in individual and small-group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, caregivers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility staffings, and parent conferences
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches to maximize outcomes
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Stay informed on best practices and current developments within speech-language pathology
Experience
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development, anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based intervention practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for helping children communicate, learn, and thrive
