The Role
The Business Intelligence Analyst is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build a strong foundation in data, reporting, and business analytics while working directly with leadership across sales, operations, and finance.
In this role, you’ll be involved in everything from building reporting tools to supporting pricing and market analysis. You’ll work with data from multiple internal and external sources, help improve how we use that data, and contribute to decisions that impact the business.
Over time, this role will also support the transition to a more centralized and self-service reporting environment (Power BI), improving access to data and reducing manual processes across the organization.

This position reports to the Director of Business Intelligence & Compliance and is designed as an entry-level role with meaningful growth potential. Strong performers will have the opportunity to grow into more advanced analytics or commercial roles within a 2–3 year timeframe.
This is a Charleston, SC-based role, working in-office with the broader support team.
Key responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
- Build, maintain, and distribute recurring reports (sales, supplier, and internal performance reporting)
- Support development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
- Execute ad hoc reporting and analysis requests for sales and leadership teams
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify reporting needs and improve visibility into performance
- Work with industry data sources (e.g., Circana scan data) to analyze market trends, competitive performance, and category dynamics
- Support development of insights that combine internal and external data
Data Management & Integrity
- Manage and maintain core data sets, including sales, product, and distributor data
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across systems and reporting outputs
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and identify root causes
- Lead data setup and maintenance for new products, suppliers, and distributors
- Support improvements to data structure, definitions, and reporting processes
Systems & Process Support
- Support Power BI data queries, data connections, and reporting structure
- Maintain system mappings across key platforms (VIP, pricing tools, CRM, etc.)
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize reporting workflows
- Support updates and maintenance of sales tools, including CRM applications
Cross-Functional Support
- Support the chain team with reporting, item setup, and authorization tracking
- Support brand managers with supplier reporting and performance analysis
- Partner with BI leadership on pricing, forecasting, and other analytical projects

Requirements
Experience: 1–3 years in a role working with data, reporting, or analysis
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.
Technical Skills: Must have basic Excel and Power BI proficiency. Knowledge of advanced functions a plus.
Core Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to learn systems and processes quickly
