Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Barn Manager for our private family stables. This beautifully maintained 6 stall barn is a quiet drama free environment. This position requires horse experience in grooming, care maintenance, stall maintenance and general cleanliness in the barn and the ability to be self motivated in the work load.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily barn operations, including feeding, cleaning, and general animal care and well being
- Some ground work duties
- Ability to drive horse trailer a plus. Kubota and other light farm equipment
- Present for vet and farrier appointments
- Administer medications, wound or injury assistance
- Maintain accurate records related to animal health treatments, equipment repairs, inventory levels
Qualifications
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- References within the horse industry!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
