In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the final assembly, maintenance, inspection, and delivery of advanced F-16 aircraft. Responsibilities
As an essential member of the team, you will:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain aircraft systems and powerplants.
- Perform repairs, overhauls, and modifications in accordance with approved procedures and industry standards.
- Support final assembly and flight readiness operations for F-16 aircraft.
- Operate and maintain aircraft systems, including landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, fueling and defueling systems, and launch and recovery operations.
- Diagnose mechanical discrepancies and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of recent aircraft maintenance experience; fighter aircraft experience preferred but not required.
- Candidates with direct fighter jet experience may qualify with as little as 4 years of experience.
- Experience in Phase Maintenance, Final Assembly, Flight Operations, or Flight Readiness.
- Active or in-process security clearance required at the time of hire.
- Ability to work flexible schedules following training, including 1st shift, 2nd shift, or weekend shifts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production or operational environment.
- FAA A&P certification preferred.
