Daycare Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Worker to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. In this role, you will support early childhood development by providing attentive care, facilitating educational activities, and managing daily routines. Duties

• Supervise and care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences
• Monitor behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and conflict resolution among children
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, team members, and children
• Ability to maintain patience, compassion, and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment
