Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position in Houston, TX, for a Junior Sales Engineer/Account Manager who will focus on the OIL&GAS PIPELINE and PETROCHEMICAL industries, with responsibilities in the primary areas of Texas and Louisiana. The Junior Sales Engineer/Account Manager will support the promotion, positioning, and revenue growth of MaCRoM and COSMOS within target accounts in the markets. This role requires a combination of technical understanding and commercial motivation, enabling the candidate to engage with customers effectively, understand their operational needs, and propose customized SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects in the oil&gas pipelines and petrochemical sector.
- Support the senior sales team in solution demonstrations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Build in-person relationships with control room managers, operations teams, and technical stakeholders.
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights to product and technical teams.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, case studies, and ROI analyses.
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue growth targets.
- Represent Tory-Tech at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development for the OIL&GAS PIPELINE and/or PETROCHEMICAL industry (required and preferably in SaaS, industrial software).
- Excellent Communication skills, including ability to present technical solutions in an understandable manner.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate technical features into business value.
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-growing technology environment.
- General understanding of oil&gas pipeline and/or petrochemical operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
