Responsibilities
- Operate tortilla production equipment efficiently, following established procedures and safety guidelines
- Mix ingredients accurately and prepare dough batches for tortilla formation
- Monitor the cooking, pressing, and packaging processes to ensure product quality and consistency
- Conduct quality checks throughout production to identify any defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Assist with inventory management by tracking raw materials and finished products
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and optimize workflow
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in food manufacturing
- Ability to operate industrial kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Physical able to lift heavy objects
- Flexibility to work morning or afternoon shifts as needed
- Prior experience in food production or bakery manufacturing is a plus but not required
Location: Franklin, TN
Hours: Part-time / afternoons - We normally work 20 to 24 hours in a week
