What will you do?
Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. There will be more, but we can discuss those in person.
- Act as strategic partner, build and maintain positive relationships within the organization and with consultants, contractors, municipalities, agencies, and builders
- Manage the consultant procurement process, coordinate and communicate the design and development to the project team
- Liaise with the construction and development teams to ensure successful project outcomes
- Prepare approval briefs, produce memorandums for key development milestones and strategic decisions for executive team
- Research and analyze market trends, produce recommendations and proposals
- Manage and track pre-development and development phase of projects
- Manage cash flow and project level budgets, act as liaison to the finance team
What type of experience and skills do you have?

- Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in real estate development; ideally you have experience with a wide range of residential, office and urban mixed-use projects, however the focus of this position will be in the Industrial Sector.
- Degree in Engineering, CET, Urban Planning, or Real Estate
- Familiar with municipal processes and permits, and the development approval process
- Understanding of construction process
- Understanding of capital stack, economics and project deal structures
- Experience in real estate finance and reviewing financial models and development pro-forma sensitivities
- Excellent project management and leadership skills. Proficient with MS Project & MS Excel
- Analytical and pragmatic decision-making and problem-solving
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Able to conceptualize complex ideas and explain them simply
