Providence ElderPlace is seeking an Associate Medical Director Physician to serve as the Administrative Lead. This new role is perfect for a Physician with a strong background in clinical or administrative medicine, especially with experience in geriatric care. The individual in this position will play a crucial role in shaping and developing the role. The responsibilities are evenly split, with 0.5 FTE dedicated to clinical duties and 0.5 FTE allocated to administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include recruiting providers, ensuring operational efficiency, onboarding new staff, and coordinating committees. Additionally, the role involves supervising the physician group and planning compliance staffing in collaboration with the Medical Director. Providence ElderPlace is a distinctive PACE program in Oregon, providing a wide range of comprehensive care services for older adults, including medical care, housing, and socialization support. The program focuses on collaboration among a full healthcare team to ensure high standards of care. What sets us apart is that we not only offer all medical services to our participants (as we refer to them due to their active engagement with the program), but we also provide housing, health insurance, medication benefits, and essential socialization opportunities through our attached Day centers.

Behavioral health and Pharmacy resources available on-site
Board-certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required
Geriatric or Palliative Care fellowship training is preferred
