Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the leaders.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations as set my management (subject to change based on company needs)
- Must complete repetitive work tasks and be able to remain focused on counting and recording numbers.
- Perform related duties as assigned by leaders.
- Break down cardboard for recycling as needed.
- Wear required company supplied PPE as directed.
- Maintain production time expectations as set by management.
- Duties subject to change based on the production needs of the company & market demand.
- Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.
- Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
- Failure to meet production role expectations will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
- Required to stand for long periods of time, repetitive movements.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds floor to waist.
- May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of boxes.
- Exposure to raw food constantly.
