What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Administrator position at Toric Engineering?
Summary
The Project Admin is responsible for ordering all materials for Toric’s engineering projects and invoicing projects. This includes, but is not limited to projects, office supplies, maintenance supplies, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
This job operates in a combination of a professional office environment and a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.

Essential Duties & Functions
- Create new projects
- Invoice projects in coordination with Controller
- Place purchase orders with vendors for stock and projects
- Order materials online or instore as needed.
- Manage Internal Parts List with accurate pricing.
- Review pricing on all orders for accuracy.
- Sourcing for the best quality, price, and lead times.
- Proactively communicate delays to project leads.
- Work with Supply and Demand to create stock orders.
- Help manage inventory, including physical inventory counts.
- Initiate RMA Process.
- Assist with problem-solving concerning purchasing.
- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Maintain vendor contact information, as needed.
- Backup to Service Admin
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to be on time
- Proficient typing skills
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to present themselves in a modest, neat, and clean dress code
- Ability to take responsibility and acknowledge failures
- Continually look for improvements
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Experience with inventory procurement
- Experience in Purchasing
- Experience with ERP system (i.e. Global Shop)
- Valid driver’s license
