What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parcel Shipping Specialist position at Torginol Inc?
Occupation Description:
- Verify and keep records of incoming/outgoing shipments. Prepare all items for shipment, including the verification of contents to the sales order, comparing the sample to shipment, packing of the items, addressing, and labeling.
Duties & Responsibilities of Job:
- Coordinates the shipping and receiving of finished goods
- Verifies receipt of goods against purchase order
- Generates the shipping labels and verifies delivery address with sales order
- Maintains the required records for each shipment/receipt by department
- Assist as needed in other warehouse operations
- Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace
- Provide final quality control check on each shipment
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Skills, Experiences & Qualifications:
- Must be a VERY detail-orientated individual
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely
- Computer skills, including basic email, spreadsheet, and word-processing software usage
- Must be able to operate a forklift safely
- Must possess a valid driver's license
Salary : $16 - $20
