About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and operational finance activities for a manufacturing facility in Denver, Colorado. This highly visible role partners with site leadership, engineering, operations, and global finance teams to drive business performance, improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a technology-focused manufacturing environment where financial insights directly influence operational and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts.
- Partner with functional leaders to analyze spending trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and overhead rate analysis.
- Prepare financial models, management reports, and ad hoc analyses for leadership.
- Support operational and profitability analysis across the manufacturing site.
- Assist with audit activities and financial compliance requirements.
- Maintain data integrity across financial systems and reporting platforms.
- Support Hyperion reporting and financial consolidation processes.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within finance operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or operations finance environments.
- Strong background in cost accounting and operational finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.
- Experience with M2M, Hyperion (HFM/HFP), or SAP preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
