Success Factors (First 12–24 Months)
- Operational Owner & Scaler: As Torani continues to grow and bring eCommerce execution in‑house, you established clear end‑to‑end ownership of DTC and Target DVS operations. You transitioned the business from historically outsourced execution to a stable, scalable internal operating model by implementing standardized workflows across systems, inventory, and fulfillment while reducing errors and improving execution consistency. This requires you to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and operate with a high level of ownership.
- Inventory & Fulfillment Optimizer: Through strong cross‑functional execution, you improved in‑stock rates across ecommerce warehouse locations and strengthened fulfillment performance. By optimizing processes and 3PL execution, you increased order success rate, fulfillment accuracy, and on‑time delivery, helping ensure a reliable customer experience as volume increased. To support this work, you demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Systems Reliability Champion: You strengthened the reliability of eCommerce platforms, integrations, and operational workflows by ensuring issues were identified and resolved before they materially impacted customers or downstream teams. As marketplace and dropship complexity grew, you ensured consistent, dependable execution across systems and partners.
- Operational Visibility Builder: You established clear operational reporting that improved visibility into inventory health, order performance, fulfillment accuracy, and system stability. These insights helped surface risk early, prioritize improvements, and support continuous optimization across eCommerce operations. In doing so, you applied an analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and process improvements.
- Cross‑Functional Partner & Team Contributor: You worked closely with Tech, Inventory, 3PL, and Agency partners to align on priorities and deliver operational outcomes. Through ownership, follow‑through, and collaboration, you contributed to a positive, solutions‑oriented team environment that supported effective execution and sustainable growth. This also requires you to be a clear communicator who can bridge technical and business teams effectively.
- Have Fun: You find ways to make the work feel good – celebrating small wins, sharing good vibes, and keeping things upbeat.
- 3–5 years of experience in eCommerce operations, logistics, or retail dropship environments
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end order lifecycle, inventory management, and fulfillment workflows
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms (Adobe Commerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, etc.) and operational tools/integrations
- Familiarity with EDI systems and managing exceptions in a dropship or marketplace environment (Target DVS a plus)
