What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Detailer position at TopSide Marinas?
Reports to: Fiberglass Manager
As we come into our busy season, Pike's Bay Marina is looking for a Seasonal Detailer to help us out through the summer. The Seasonal Detailesr responsibility is to perform the duties below on a regular basis and meet customer satisfaction standards as well as company sales and sa fety requirements.Seasonal schedule changes may take place at management discretion.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess the condition of gel coat/paint and recommend proper maintenance protocol
- Wash, buff, and wax deck and hull
- Possess knowledge of proper operation of hand and hand-held air/electric tools and apply to work
- Follow all procedures pertaining to safety and personal protection equipment
- Ensure quality of work performed
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Act with the highest level of integrity and maintain a positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to speak and read English to follow instructions on work orders as well as understand product and manual instructions
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
- Must be able to complete assigned work in an efficient and timely manner
- Strong work ethic and personal commitment
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and company goals
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work comfortably around water
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Ability to work at heights of up to 30 feet
- Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, climb, crawl, bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach, grasp
