Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues on various RV models using automotive diagnostics tools and techniques
- Perform routine maintenance such as Slide-Out adjustments, brake repairs, and suspension work
- Repair and replace components including water heaters, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and electrical systems
- Conduct heavy lifting and use power tools, hand tools, soldering tools, and other specialized machinery to complete repairs efficiently
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair progress clearly to customers and team members
- Assist with assembly or reassembly of RV components during repairs or upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background in automotive or RV repair environments
- Electrical repair skills with experience in automotive electrical systems and wiring diagnostics
- Mechanical knowledge spanning HVAC systems, suspension components, brakes, and solar
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment repair techniques
- Familiarity with plumbing systems maintenance and repair within RVs is a plus
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, and other maintenance tools
- Customer service skills with an ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
