To land this gig you will need to have a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience. This position is primarily responsible for development and maintenance of a custom Point-Of-Sale application and/or eCommerce platform powering Toppers.com. Your resume is important to us and will be read by humans, not AI bots.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using the Microsoft .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET MVC, UWP).
• Work with front-end technologies (TypeScript, Vue.js, AngularJS, JavaScript, Sass/CSS) to deliver responsive, user-friendly applications.
• Lead feature development and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA analysts.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and third-party systems via RESTful APIs, Azure Service Bus queues, and scheduled jobs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the future of our cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (App Services, SQL DBs, WebJobs, VMs, and more).
• Guide junior developers, perform code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• 4 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on Microsoft technologies (.NET Framework/Core, C#, SQL Server).
• Deep knowledge of cloud-based development using Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Web Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL, App Insights, Key Vaults).
• Experience building scalable and maintainable web applications using ASP.NET MVC or Web API.
• Proficiency with front-end development frameworks and tools — especially Vue.js, AngularJS, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong command of SQL development and database performance optimization.
• Ability to navigate and contribute to a complex architecture that spans across legacy systems and greenfield cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with Optimizely CMS and Commerce (formerly Episerver) is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Azure DevOps/Git).

Nice To Haves…

• Experience working in the restaurant or franchise industry.
• Knowledge of Azure-based observability and logging tools (e.g., App Insights, Log Analytics).
• Previous experience in a multi-tenant SaaS or highly distributed system architecture.
