QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Washington State Secondary Principal certification or ability to obtain -required.
- Master's Degree in educational administration or related field - required.
- Demonstrated successful experience as a principal - preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in administration at a school district or collegiate level - required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience in public schools - required.
- Knowledge of Washington State Learning Standards and School Improvement Planning - preferred.
- Expertise in data-driven decision-making and fostering a culture of data literacy and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge and experience in effective supervision and evaluation of staff using the Danielson Frameworks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Common Core Standards, state assessments, and related school reform initiatives affecting schools. Ability to use data for improving and sustaining teaching and learning.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting student success through inclusive leadership, high academic expectations, and a focus on equitable outcomes for all students.
- Ability to foster a positive school culture by supporting student success and holding both students and staff accountably to high standards of conduct, performance, and achievement.
