Production Planner

Position: Production Planner

Location: Morristown, TN

Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $30.51 – $37.63/hour

Summary Description

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure efficient operations while meeting customer demand. This role works closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to balance capacity, materials, and timelines in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create and adjust production schedules based on machine capacity, materials, and resources
• Ensure alignment of cylinders, inks, and substrates to meet production needs
• Coordinate internal and external material flow
• Maintain and monitor inventory control systems and procedures
• Communicate with vendors, customers, sales teams, and plant personnel regarding materials and shipments
• Support on-time delivery and customer expectations through proactive planning
• Complete special projects and assignments as directed

• You have strong computer and data entry skills, including experience with word processing systems
• You communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers
• You are comfortable presenting information and speaking with cross-functional teams
• You can manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time
• You have knowledge of manufacturing processes or production environments
