Position: Press Operator I

Location: Batavia,IL

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Pay Rate: $26.58/hour

Summary Description

The Press Operator I supports printing operations by assisting with press setup, material flow, and production support activities. This role plays an important part in ensuring efficient press performance, maintaining quality standards, and supporting overall production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Feed materials into the press to maintain production flow
• Prepare loads (aerate) for efficient processing through the press
• Assist with press make-ready and setup activities
• Stage finished loads and support material movement
• Manage and complete consumption documentation
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including completion of sweep sheets
• Follow all safety and operational procedures
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

• You can speak, read, and write in English
• You have 2 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)
• You bring a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation
• You have mechanical aptitude
• You have solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
