Job Description

Position: Ink Technician

Location: Waco, TX

Wage: $25.02

Shift: (Mon-Fri 11 PM-7AM)

Reporting directly to the Production Manager as an Ink Technician, you will be responsible for duties assigned by the shift lead and managers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Dispense and blend printing inks
• Organizes inks for press runs
• Preform press-side color-matching
• Utilize color computer software to assist in daily work.
• Returns inks from press to appropriate area
• Assists in reducing “work-off” inventory.
• Maintains inventory control standards
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area.

• Must have ability to effectively and accurately distinguish color. Basic color blind test will be administered previous to job offer.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure , using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Basic math and logic test will be administer previous to job offer.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employee organizations.
• Ability to understand job and how it effects the company is essential to success. 3-month training program will be administered with knowledge and skill certification required in first 6 months. Annual recertification of knowledge and skills is required.
