What You’ll Be Doing
- Work safely at all times while following all plant and division safety rules and policies
- Perform all job functions in accordance with safety procedures and required PPE
- Maintain company health, housekeeping, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Minimize waste and improve efficient use of materials
- Recognize printing imperfections
- Operate all models of doctor machines
- Wrap pallets of finished goods
- Understand and properly use roll manipulators, including weight differential setup
- Perform quality splicing according to customer specifications
- Operate a forklift as required
- Maintain an organized, clean work area
- Demonstrate commitment to total quality and continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned or as situations dictate
- Work overtime as required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- You have a high school diploma or GED
- You can follow directions and complete assignments in a fast-paced environment
- You can maintain logs and records in a legible, accurate, and timely manner
- You can accurately use a ruler for measurements and perform basic math functions
- You demonstrate the desire, ability, and initiative to advance through progression
- You maintain high standards of professionalism when working with others
- You have or are willing to obtain forklift certification
