Position: Electro Mechanic I

Location: Plant City

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 4 days on / 4 days off

Pay Rate: $32.63/hour

Summary Description

While reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electro Mechanic I is responsible for maintaining plant equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement efforts that minimize downtime and support safe plant operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform maintenance tasks required to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot equipment, systems, and processes and make repairs as needed
• Work safely and follow all plant safety rules and procedures
• Pass electrical skills and safety testing to become a qualified Category 2 worker
• Follow all electrical safety work practices
• Work on electrical systems up to 480 volts
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, AC/DC motor controls, VFDs, and other electrical/electronic devices
• Run conduit and cable management systems
• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and building repairs
• Work at heights up to 60 feet
• Respond to emergency call-ins when required
• Accurately report spare parts usage
• Maintain housekeeping and organization in maintenance areas
• Identify opportunities for equipment and process improvement
  
  

We’d Love to Hear From You If

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
• You have strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical/electronic systems
• You can read and understand electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• You can troubleshoot and repair equipment independently
• You have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
• You have strong general math skills
• You are proficient with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, circuit locators, and thermal imaging equipment
• You have strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills
• You have strong organization and time management skills
