Location: Plant City
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 4 days on / 4 days off

Summary Description
While reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electro Mechanic I is responsible for maintaining plant equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement efforts that minimize downtime and support safe plant operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform maintenance tasks required to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot equipment, systems, and processes and make repairs as needed
- Work safely and follow all plant safety rules and procedures
- Pass electrical skills and safety testing to become a qualified Category 2 worker
- Follow all electrical safety work practices
- Work on electrical systems up to 480 volts
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, AC/DC motor controls, VFDs, and other electrical/electronic devices
- Run conduit and cable management systems
- Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and building repairs
- Work at heights up to 60 feet
- Respond to emergency call-ins when required
- Accurately report spare parts usage
- Maintain housekeeping and organization in maintenance areas
- Identify opportunities for equipment and process improvement
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- You have strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical/electronic systems
- You can read and understand electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- You can troubleshoot and repair equipment independently
- You have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
- You have strong general math skills
- You are proficient with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, circuit locators, and thermal imaging equipment
- You have strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills
- You have strong organization and time management skills
