What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr FP&A Analyst - TG position at Topgolf?
- Lead monthly forecasting and annual budgeting calendars for the consolidated company, coordinating with all business units and corporate functions to meeting monthly and quarterly deadlines
- Support monthly expense reviews and variance analysis across functional departments. Prepare executive-level presentations and reports on expense trends and risks
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost management. Drive process improvements in expense tracking and reporting systems
- Create and utilize automated tools for updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results
- Collaborate across variety of groups at Topgolf, including executive leadership and business unit contacts
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and cost optimization efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field
- Progressive experience (4 yrs) in finance, with a focus on FP&A
- Strong experience in utitiziling Anaplan; certification in Anaplan modeling a plus
- Expert-level Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Prior hospitality or retail industry experience preferred but not required
- Experience in SAP, SQL, Power BI a plus
- Comfortable working with executives. Self-starter, analytical and detail-oriented with a strong business acumen
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts. Ability to analyze complex financial data and draw meaningful insights
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in financial planning and analysis tools and systems, including Anaplan. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Results Oriented & Continuous Improvement: Results oriented with high regard for accuracy and quality while balancing timelines. Excellent project management skills to meet deadlines. Resourceful with a thirst for improving processes and tools
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify trends, evaluate risks and opportunities and provide insights to support business decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
