Holiday Inn Express Topeka North is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations while providing exceptional guest service and completing daily accounting and reporting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy.
- Check guests in and out efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.
- Perform nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Balance room revenue, cash receipts, and other financial records.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for management.
- Monitor hotel security and maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Answer phone calls and process reservations as needed.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby areas remain clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Assist with light housekeeping or operational tasks when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
- Night audit experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel management systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
