Holiday Inn Express Topeka North is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and brand compliance.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive hotel housekeeping experience and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping staff.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Create daily work assignments and manage team productivity.
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens.
- Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and hotel policies.
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public areas when needed.
- Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Address guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching as needed.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Head Housekeeper in a hotel environment, OR
- Minimum 3 years of hotel housekeeping experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Continuous hotel experience is required. Candidates without recent and consistent hotel housekeeping experience will not be considered.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout a shift.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
