What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance.
- Utilize your field service experience to manage on-site repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety.
- Conduct assembly of new appliances and ensure proper installation at customer locations.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and customer interactions.
Experience
- Proven experience as an appliance technician or similar role with a strong focus on appliance repair.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus; knowledge of refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is beneficial for managing logistics effectively.
- Strong electrical experience to troubleshoot complex issues confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
