System Engineer – Flight Test

Tope is seeking a Flight Test System Engineer to support the AF Reentry Vehicle Development Program.  The selected candidate will have an important role in supporting the following duties and responsibilities:

·         coordinate and ensure the effective scheduling of flight, ground and cyber test activities with Government stakeholders, Prime and subcontractors

·         Review test plans, concepts, policies, and standards of missile system tests.

·         Ensure the Mk21A capabilities seamlessly interface with the future Sentinel missile weapon system architecture.

·         Provide weapon system expertise in conducting integrated test engineering-level assessments of analysis, production, verification, validation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution processes as part of the program development cycle and to identify and mitigate design, production, and test deficiencies that could impact successful development.

Position requires United States Citizenship, a fully adjudicated DoD Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance and at least 3 years’ experience and a BS degree in engineering, computer science, software, mathematics, physics, or related field or 2 years’ experience and a MS degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field.

·   Developmental or Operational Flight Test Experience.

·   Familiarity with developing test plans.

·   Familiarity with program management principles, including cost, schedule, and performance assessment.

·   Familiarity with analyzing test reports.

·   Experience with DoW acquisition programs
