System Engineer – CDRL Review

Tope is seeking a CDRL Review System Engineer to support the AF Reentry Vehicle Development Program.  The selected candidate will have an important role in supporting the following duties and responsibilities:

·   Critical Design Review (CDR) phase, specifically providing specialized support for systems engineering Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) review

·   Act as the primary bridge between technical execution and data management.

·   Lead the horizontal CDRL reviews, ensuring consistency, integration, and traceability across the program.

·   Work with data management and ensure all deliverables meet the rigorous digital engineering standards of the ACAT program.

·   Requirements Traceability: Utilizing DOORS, Cameo, and CREO to maintain strict requirements traceability throughout the system lifecycle.

·   Data Management Integration: Providing technical directions to data management teams for the efficient handling of engineering deliverables.

·   Compliance & Validation: Managing validation, data rights verification, and ensuring adherence to program requirements.

Position requires United States Citizenship, a fully adjudicated DoD Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance and at least 3 years’ experience and a BS degree in engineering, computer science, software, mathematics, physics, or related field or 2 years’ experience and a MS degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field.

·   Proven experience using DOORS and Cameo for systems engineering and requirements traceability.

·   Direct experience working within the constraints and requirements of an acquisitions or sustainment program

·   Data Expertise: Strong understanding of data management, specifically regarding the delivery, storage, and management of technical data

·   Knowledge of Mil-HDBK-61B, DoD 5010.12, and/or EIA-649-1 guiding principles

Other skills desired are:

·   Experience working across multiple levels of network classifications

·   Configuration Manager certification.

·   Experience managing engineering files within a Digital Engineering ecosystem

·   Experience with DoW acquisition programs
