VP of Human Resources

Position Overview:

A rapidly expanding healthcare management organization is seeking an experienced Vice President of Human Resources to oversee HR operations for all employees across a large portfolio of assisted living facilities.

Reporting to executive leadership, this individual will provide strategic and operational HR leadership across multiple states, ensuring compliance, payroll oversight, benefits administration, employee relations, and workforce management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR leader who can balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities:

·         Lead HR operations across multiple assisted living facilities and states
·         Oversee payroll processes and ensure payroll accuracy
·         Manage employee relations, compliance, and workplace policies
·         Oversee benefits administration, PTO programs, and HR systems
·         Coordinate workers' compensation and leave management functions
·         Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations
·         Partner with facility leadership on staffing, retention, and workforce planning
·         Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and reporting
·         Support acquisitions and organizational growth initiatives
·         Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership
 
Qualifications:
·         5 years of progressive HR leadership experience
·         Multi-site or multi-state HR experience required
·         Strong understanding of payroll oversight and employment compliance
·         Experience supporting large employee populations
·         Knowledge of benefits administration, employee relations, and workplace policies
·         Strong communication and leadership skills
·         Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
·         Healthcare, assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare services preferred
·         SHRM or PHR certification is a plus
 
Compensation & Benefits:
·       $150,000-$200,000 (based on experience)
