Responsibilities
- Staffing Development Coordinator: Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop and implement staffing strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimize patient care outcomes.
- Infection Control Nurse: Conduct surveillance and monitoring of infection control practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement corrective actions to prevent and control infections.
- Develop and implement education programs for staff on infection control practices, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to infection control and patient safety.
- Current RN license in the state of Tennessee
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in infection control or a related field
- Strong understanding of infection control principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
