Position Summary

We are looking for an strong, motivated, Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist for our group of skilled nursing facilities. This individual will be responsible for accounts receivable collections related tasks for multiple FEINs.

As an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the collections for our group of skilled nursing facilities, including but not limited to following up on facility collections activities, monitoring receivables, running aging reports and conducting audits.

Qualifications:

• Required to have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Healthcare Accounts Receivable Collections.
• Experience with Healthcare billing systems, common working files, Medicaid billing, NAMI, Medicaid Pending, resident trust management, and Private Collections.
• The ability to multi-task between projects, payer types, and month-end-close deadlines.
• Attention to detail and the ability to understand, problem solve, track, and verbalize troubled/growing accounts and payor types.
• Able to communicate with confidence to executive leaders.
• A positive attitude and ability to work with business office managers and lead staff.
• Strong computer and communication skills.

Experience:

• Healthcare Accounts Receivable, including Medicaid, NAMI and Private Collections: 3 years
• Experience in Nursing Home A/R Collections
• Business Office Manager: 3 years (Preferred)
