Topa Group, Inc. is partnered with an Electrical Contractor based in San Francisco, CA. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team in San Francisco. This role is critical to our success and will focus on preparing accurate, competitive estimates for commercial electrical construction projects throughout the Bay Area.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial electrical estimating and is highly proficient with Accubid.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for commercial projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, material, and equipment
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope
- Utilize Accubid to develop estimates and proposals (required)
- Coordinate with project managers, operations, and vendors during the bidding process
- Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and scope clarification
- Maintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in commercial electrical estimating
- Strong Accubid experience is required
- Solid understanding of commercial electrical systems and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $125,000 – $150,000, based on experience
