Overview

We’re seeking a Commercial AV Installation Technician to support the installation, termination, and testing of low-voltage audio/video systems in commercial environments. This role is ideal for technicians with hands-on AV or low-voltage experience looking to grow within structured project teams.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage cabling (CAT5/6, speaker, control)
• Perform cable testing using tone generators and testers
• Install speakers, displays, wall plates, microphones, and projectors
• Rack-mount AV equipment and label cables to industry standards
• Read basic drawings and wiring diagrams
• Complete punch-list items accurately and on time
• Maintain clean job sites and follow safety protocols
• Collaborate with Lead Technicians and Project Managers
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior AV or low-voltage installation experience
• Familiarity with hand tools, ladders, and job-site safety
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in ceilings, lifts, and tight spaces
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Clean driving record

• AVIXA CTS (or working toward)
• Manufacturer exposure (Crestron, Biamp, Extron, Shure, etc.)
