The Role
TOPA Architecture is seeking a talented Architectural Designer with approximately 5 years of experience. You will be a vital part of our design team, operating under the guidance of a Project Manager and Job Captain to bring complex projects to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Documentation: Produce high-quality construction drawings, details, and existing condition surveys.
- Project Synergy: Develop a deep understanding of structural, MEP systems, and building/accessibility codes.
- Communication: Provide clear written, oral, and graphic communication to the project team and outside vendors.
- Independence: Manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with a proactive mindset.
- Growth: Support Project Managers with construction administration and foster relationships with consultants and clients.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and MS Office.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills and a "growth mindset" with a willingness to learn.
- Note: NCARB certification or Architectural licensing is not required for this role.
