Quality Manager
Location: Lawrence, MA
Compensation: $135,000–$140,000
Position: Full-Time | On-Site
Travel: Up to 25%
Top Workforce Solutions is recruiting an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality programs and teams within a manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining strong quality standards, developing team members, improving processes, and ensuring customer, supplier, and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Quality Engineers and Inspectors.
- Oversee Quality Management Systems and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Drive problem-solving efforts using 8D, CAPA, root cause analysis, and corrective action methods.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Support supplier and customer quality activities, including audits and corrective actions.
- Participate in NPI, FMEA, risk assessments, and quality planning.
- Monitor quality metrics and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support internal audits, MRB activities, and manufacturing quality programs.
- Promote quality awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- 10 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Must meet applicable U.S. Person requirements for ITAR/export-control regulations.
Preferred: Six Sigma certification, PCB/SMT manufacturing experience, reliability and risk management, Minitab, and experience with Oracle, Microsoft AX, or Agile.
