Outside Sales Representative (Water Works)

Job description:

Position Title: Outside Sales Representative (Water Works Exp)

Location: Lewiston, ME

Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually

Responsibilities:

· Cultivate and expand sales within the assigned territory, focusing on both existing and prospective clients

· Develop strategic plans to acquire new accounts and enhance relationships with current customers

· Identify potential opportunities and overcome obstacles to sales growth

· Regularly visit and engage with customers to strengthen relationships

· Collaborate with customers to support their business development and growth initiatives

· Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends

· Work closely with inside sales and branch teams to fulfill customer requirements

· Complete necessary reports including sales activity schedules, target account management, call summaries, and expense documentation

Qualifications:

· Experience in water works or related sales preferred

· Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

· Strong presentation and negotiation skills

· Reliable follow-through on commitments

· Proficient in PC applications, particularly Word and Excel
