Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their visit
• Assist customers with product selection, including demonstrations and detailed explanations of items such as smoking accessories, vaporizers, and related merchandise
• Manage point-of-sale transactions accurately using Millennium or other POS systems, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
• Maintain organized stock levels through regular stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and visual appeal
• Promote sales through upselling techniques and suggestive selling to maximize revenue opportunities
• Engage with customers via social media management to promote new products, events, and shop promotions
• Conduct product demos and makeup applications when applicable to enhance customer experience and showcase product features
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette for inquiries and orders while managing front desk responsibilities with organizational skills and time management
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the retail space, including merchandising displays and stock areas
• Support social media efforts by creating engaging content in multiple languages to reach a broader audience

Skills

• Proficiency with retail software such as Millennium and salon management tools; familiarity with POS systems is essential
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for engaging diverse customers
• Knowledge of cosmetology, beauty & cosmetics sales, makeup application, and product demos to assist customers effectively
• Experience in retail sales, cashiering, customer service, and stock management to ensure smooth daily operations
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for retail math tasks like cash handling and pricing adjustments
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for merchandising, stocking, and inventory control
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards
• Bilingual capabilities (e.g., English plus another language) preferred for better communication with diverse clientele
• Familiarity with social media management tools for marketing purposes; creativity in engaging content creation is a plus
