What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Manager position at Top Tier Resources?
Treasury Manager supporting the Chief Financial Officer and overseeing all aspects of cash management, banking relationships, evaluating customer credit, and planning and working capital initiatives. My client is seeking a strategic thinker who excels with cross-functional teams in fast-paced company that is growing quickly in an environment active in acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all operational and daily operations of the Treasury function.
- Manage customer credit evaluation process to establish and monitor credit limits to reduce financial risk, accelerate collections, and enhance working capital performance.
- Drive continuous process improvements and implement treasury best-practices to optimize cash flow visibility.
- Responsible for taking a primary role in managing banking relationships, including account administration, creating, and managing the company’s banking structure, service model and signatory management.
- Work closely with capital policies, accounting methods, cash flow, and capital projections to provide accurate liquidity projections.
- Develop, manage, and advance the process of the cash flow forecast and analysis.
- Work closely with FP&A, Operations, Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to implement best practices.
- Oversee debt reporting, debt repayments, covenant compliance, and forecasting of repayment schedule and related interest costs.
- Familiarity with risk management and insurance placement/renewals such as General Liability, Workers Comp, and commercial auto.
- Supervises a treasury analyst.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 8 years in accounting/finance with at least 2 years dedicated to treasury management.
- Experience with data driven decision making and process improvements.
- Experience working with and building relationships with financial institutions.
- Strength with ERP systems and banking platforms and other treasury resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced skills in Excel.
- CTP or CPA preferred.
