What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer position at Top Tier Resources?
Our client, a well-known Engineering and Architecture firm, is growing and adding to the team. This Civil Engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects and ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations including addressing environmental impacts.
Responsibilities
- Manage design projects from conception to completion.
- Meet with clients and government agencies throughout the design process.
- Comply with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations (detention/retention.)
- Design sites (parking, sidewalks, grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management) are associated with new and renovated buildings.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- 5-7 years’ experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) required or PE in progress.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Proficient at design and permitting stormwater management facilities and erosion control.
- Experience in large campus industrial work is a plus
- Federal work experience with DoD and industrial projects.

Salary : $108,000 - $130,000
