Top Tier Exterior is adding residential Christmas light installation to our services this holiday season, and we're looking for someone with previous Christmas light installation experience to help us with installations, maintenance, and removal.
This is a hands-on outdoor position. You'll be working at residential homes, using ladders and tools to install Christmas lights and create clean, professional-looking displays.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing Christmas lights on residential homes
- Hanging lights along rooflines, gutters, windows, and other areas of the home
- Using ladders and basic hand/power tools
- Measuring and planning light runs
- Making sure lights are securely installed and look clean and even
- Troubleshooting lights that aren't working properly
- Making adjustments or repairs when needed
- Removing lights after the holiday season
- Organizing and storing lights and equipment
- Keeping the work area clean and safe
What We're Looking For
Previous Christmas light installation experience is preferred and strongly encouraged.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience installing Christmas lights, preferably professionally
- Is comfortable working from ladders and at heights
- Knows how to safely use basic hand tools
- Can work outdoors in cold weather
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
- Pays attention to detail
- Takes pride in doing clean, quality work
- Can work independently as well as with a small team
- Has reliable transportation
You don't need to be an electrician or have a background in electrical work. We will show you how we want our installations done and provide training on our process.
The Right Person
We're looking for someone who already has experience with Christmas lights and understands what goes into a good installation.
You should be comfortable getting on a ladder, working outside, using tools, and figuring things out when something doesn't go as planned.
Most importantly, we want someone who cares about doing the job safely and doing it right.
