Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Clerk to join our team in Saint Louis, MO. The Clerk is an integral member of our team, facilitating open an clear communication channels, maintaining up to date customer records, executing orders ans processing sales transactions. This position position will provide an opportunity to build sales expertise while contributing to a professional and energetic environment.
Clerk Daily Responsibilities
- Deliver clear and concise responses to inbound inquiries
- Prioritize using effective time management skills
- Follows through to ensure all customers are handled in a timely manner
- Perform data entry tasks accurately
- Ensure all new order forms are filled out accurately
- Review sales transactions to ensure that each customer has a clear understanding of their order
- Process sales transactions
- Communicate with customers using a welcoming and professional demeanor
- Other duties as assigned
Clerk Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Knowledge and understanding of our organization, goals, objectives, policies and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess excellent time management skills
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively using time management techniques
- Previous experience in a client or customer facing role
- Customer service experience will be considered advantageous
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Able to work on-site in Saint Louis, MO
