As a Retail Associate, you'll be the friendly face customers look forward to seeing. You'll help shoppers find what they need, answer questions, provide product recommendations, and create a welcoming shopping environment where every customer feels valued.

Retail Associate Responsibilities:
- Support inventory accuracy through accurate completion of all required point of sale and merchandise disposition practices
- Support the training process for new hires on the service team, including teaching process best practices, proper point of sale procedures, using available tools and resources while meeting Kohl’s brand standards
- Participate in daily sales processes
- Assist customers with purchases, process sales transactions, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high customer service standards.
- Resolve basic customer concerns professionally and help ensure every shopper leaves with a positive impression.
- Support seasonal promotions, merchandising activities, and daily store operations.
Retail Associate Qualifications:
- Acting with integrity, honesty and fostering teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture
- Exercising good judgment and discernment when making decisions; taking appropriate partners as needed
- Demonstrating a customer service mindset, anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issues
- Accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes
- A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy retail environment.
- Flexibility to work retail schedules, including weekends and peak shopping periods.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
- Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- No retail experience required
